Appeals court denies bond for ex-Speaker Michael Madigan pending appeal; must report to prison Oct. 13

That motion was denied in a one-page order from the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

Appeals court denies bond for ex-Speaker Michael Madigan pending appeal; must report to prison Oct. 13

A federal appeals court Friday denied bond for ex-House Speaker Michael Madigan pending his appeal on corruption charges, a decision that means Madigan will have to report to prison on Oct. 13 to being serving his 7 1/2 year sentence.
